That is why many small to medium size companies do not have a Disaster Recovery Plan in place for their IT infrastructure and mission critical data. Fortunately, DataPoint can plan out and deliver these complex back-up services at a compelling price point for any sized business. By partnering with our business units in other states, we can replicate your mission critical data to secure, remote data centers in real time. None of your data will be lost if a disaster hits your primary IT facility. The most selective and heavily dependent IT customers, can mirror mission-critical IT systems at one of our remote data centers (a hot-site). If your primary IT facility fails, we simply switch your IT systems to the mirrored site. End users need not feel any impact on their productivity when a disaster hits. Internet VPN technology makes data transfer to a remote site secure and is HIPAA compliant.
We offer two levels of disaster recover services depending on your desired recovery time. Custom solutions are also available.
Data Backup
Mission critical data is replicated or backed up to our dedicated data backup servers.
Off-Site Backup
A full “mirrored” configuration of the customer’s data is established in one of our out-of-state data centers. System hardware is provided by either the customer or DataPoint and data is frequently synchronized with the primary servers.
