Features of Our Baltimore Data Center

    • Power and Cooling -The facility covers 18,000 square feet and is powered by a 1,000 kilowatt auto-cutover diesel generator with a 500 gallon fuel tank that is tested weekly. The facility’s HVAC is made up of a system of 9 Leibert Air Handlers that provide 180 tons of cooling and maintain a constant temperature that is ideal for the equipment stored on-site.

 

    • Disaster Preparation - Dry pipe fire suppression with Vesda air sampling system is in place to protect equipment in case of a fire.

 

    • Personnel - There is staff present on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. From security to engineers and technicians, support is always available no matter when it is needed.  Access to the facility is restricted to authorized personnel only. Any visitors are escorted and monitored at all times.

 

    • Security – We provide firewall services as well as VPN services which undergo weekly security audits. A state of the art video surveillance system monitors all activity on the facility grounds and multi-level care access cards restrict who has access to what.

 

  • Access to Carriers – Level 3, XO Communications, Cogent
